Hi everyone, another bug fix patch coming in.
We did some investigating about the black screen issue some people have, especially when their ping is high (over 100). It turns out it's related to the amount of items the host has in his hideout - each item has physics, and if there's too many of these items and the connection isn't great, clients may not sync properly and the black screen happens.
The fix - for now - would be to limit items in the hideout to 100, but only for people with bad connections and only in online play. This limit doesn't exist in single-player or if your ping is below 100. I'm searching for a better solution, but to be honest, it's still a miracle the game can be played at a ping of +150.
1.32 removes the item limit and instead gives you a warning if there's too many items and the ping is too high.
There are some other fixes, including the achievement problem with item requests.
Changed the item request achievement from requiring all requests to 50 (which is about 75%)
Improved PvP scoring system (hopefully fixes the issue where some people have 0 score no matter what)
Improved requests beacon functionality
Black screen semi-fix; if your ping is over 100 and you're in online mode, there's a limit on items in the hideout to prevent the endless black screen for clients - this limit does not exist in single-player mode or when your ping is below 100(as of 1.32, instead of a limit there's a pop-up warning)If the black screen after joining still happens, there's a timeout and an error instead of it being endless
