We have good new to share with you:
Hopeless Sea is joining this year's OTK Games Expo at the Pre-show event! OTK Games Expo is one of the largest indie showcase fest in the world therefore we are so blessed (they usually only pick 50 from swamp of titles so...)!
Anyway, we are approaching the biggest milestone of Hopeless Sea, the full release. One thing is certain that it will happen in June, 2025! We will soon post another event reminder for expo's time and link.

---- Game Play ----
- From now on, all available weapons can be upgraded to level 4, the max level without need to worry about bugs.
- Elevate negative effect in the game, now squid enemy can fire bullets that "blind" the player for short period of time.
- Enhanced trait Gas Mask effect that reduce negative effect time from 50% tp 75%.
- Rebalance of machine gun's power and upgrades.
- Sharks now pause a very short while before releasing bullet, giving players more time to react.
---- Bugs ----
- Fixed bug that will cause player failed from entering next wave from wave 2.
- Fixed a bug that will cause duo screen and TATE switching unfunctional in option menu and in-game pause menu.
---- Graphics & UI ----
- Enhanced enemy "squeeze" effect while hurt.
- Various store visual upgrades including UI and UX improvements:
- Mary (store girl) now slowly moves up and down for better visual.
- Bigger dialogue frame.
- Selection box animation.
- Unaffordable items is shaded in gray the same as unavaiable items.
- Show number of cash spent while purchasing items in the store.
- Pressing confirm button will bring icon down-right a little.
- Simplified store button function indication UI.
- It is now holding leaving button for a short while to enter next wave needed than before.
- Lowered primary weapon bullets' brightness to make them more distinctive from secondary weapon bullets.
