Hi! I just released another minor update, fixing some annoying small problems. Some of these could have caused issues with the demo being released tomorrow afternoon, so I wanted to fix them beforehand.
Fixed 'team select' showing 'cancel' when switching teams
Added cheat detection for speedhacks
Improved menu logo
Made catching slightly harder
Removed 'All Monster truck tire' from arena modifiers
Default network connection set to 'best' instead of US East Coast
If banned from a room, can not use QuickPlay for 24 hours
Improved chat font & resolution - sadly emoticons are gone : (
FFA scoreboard text is now white
If create room using QuickPlay fails, attempts again
On in-game main menu, if using 'best' connection now shows server name
I changed the network connection to 'Best' because hopefully with the demo available we'll get players spread out among all server regions, without a need to cluster everyone on the East Coast server. This increases server population but can lead to bad pings.
You can always change your server in the Options/Network panel if you still want to play against people on other servers. Also, if you have played the game previously, the East Coast server is probably stored in your preferences so you'll stay on that one until you specifically change it.
