As we get closer to opening the Playtest, we upgrade the weekly notes from "patch notes" to "regular updates" to make sure it won't be lost on those who participate in the test.
The current status:
* We have submitted the Playtest build for the pre-release review, and expect to pass it within a week or so (unless we run into some specific issue)
* We opened the sign-ups to the Playtest, and currently have a bit over 200 players in the list there (top countries: Russia, China, USA, Poland, Japan)
To join the Playtest, you need to hit the green button that says "Request access":

It is so good to have this functionality, where we don't need to generate and distribute Steam keys on our own, and everything is automated! A huge progress since the times we ran the tests for our earlier projects.
And now, what's new in Tuesday's build –
GAMEPLAY
- All the tutorial errors are fixed.
- There are still some situations when “END TURN“ button is not locked when is should be – we'll work on fixing this in the next update.
- The tutorial flow is now expanded to include more items.
- The UI is updated.
- The texts are still placeholder texts, and need editing/translation
- "Victory" (a new one is coming)
- "Retreat" (not possible in the Playtest/Demo mode)
- "Questionnaire" (we used to have it, but now simply won't have the time to read the responses
As of now, we aim to release the Playtest with 2 books (Prologue and Bonus), which have 10 and 3 challenges respectively. This comes to 39 encounters between the two, unlockable through progression.
