Ready to peek behind the curtain? A brand-new BETA version of Idle Life is now live – and it's packed with reworks, experiments, and features that need your feedback.
📜 Quest System Rework – Phase 1
The long-awaited Quest Rework is here – starting with a full overhaul of how quests work internally, plus a new system for Daily Quests.
For testing purposes, only 2 daily quests are currently available – but 14 unique variations are planned for the full release this Sunday!
This is just the beginning – we’re rebuilding the system from the ground up to make quests more dynamic, more rewarding, and better structured for long-term play.
🔔 Notification System
Introducing small but mighty alerts in the lower right corner of your screen.
• Worker stopped working? Notification.
• Starving? Dying of thirst? Notification.
• Something broke? You guessed it: notification.
This new system is here to keep you informed without interrupting your flow.
🧪 New Enchantment: Looting
A new enchantment is now testable:
• Looting: Gain more resources from enemies you defeat.
Perfect for greedy players and ruthless grinders.
🚪 How to Join the Beta
Step 1: Right-click Idle Life in your Steam library → Properties → Betas
Step 2: Enter the beta access password
Step 3: Restart the game and enjoy testing!
🔑 How to Get the Beta Password
There are two ways to unlock it:
