A number of changes have been made since the launch on steam- these are listed below!
Summary
You can now freeze your vehicle in the designer with capslock and I've added "elevation only" cannon barrels for more realistic battleship-like turrets as well as radar antennas and radar dishes for long range searches on the strategic map. In addition I've added the first story mission for the Onyx Watch campaign. In this campaign you play as a war-technician and in mission 1 you're defending a scrap processing plant from bombing raids.
Full change log
[1.481] More depth to not being at war with teams in campaign- those you are not at war with are counted as neutral and won't attack you. Damaging them hurts your relationship with their fraction.

What's next
Look back at the previous change logs for a longer term development plan- but the focus for the next day or so will be adding prefab loading and saving for chunks of the blueprint, adding default functional missiles (so a newly placed missile is of a reasonable standard rather than being 100% empty body modules) and perhaps offering some different and more familiar build mechanics for those coming into FTD from other games.
