AArcade: Redux Beta now live!

Hello again everybody! It has been almost 1 year since I warned that I was going to go off the grid as I worked on a complete re-write of AArcade. Almost 1 full year without updates to AArcade, and now, it's time for the first public version of the *all-new* Anarchy Arcade: Redux Beta!

Here are some known limitations & missing features in Redux Beta that you'll want to be aware of. When all of these limitations are resolved, Redux will be very close to coming out of Early Access.

Beta Limitations

  • No multiplayer yet.
  • Internal resolutions are not adjustable yet.
  • No publishing content to the workshop yet.
  • Can't launch other Source engine games yet.
  • Can't "hard pause" yet. (Only has an improved "minimal" pause mode.)
  • Open-with apps cannot be configured yet.
  • Various missing features.
  • No consumer-quality VR support yet.

Workshop Content

All of your current workshop subscriptions from Legacy Mode will also continue to work in Redux. Note that some very old workshop items (referred to as "GEN 1") aren't supported yet.

Already an AArcade user?

Now that Redux is public, all of your old AArcade stuff is in Legacy Mode. You can launch Legacy Mode and use your old stuff like regular, OR you can EXPORT your legacy stuff so you can use it in Redux Mode as well.
