Libretro Sound Instructions

This build of AArcade includes an alternative version of client.dll that you can swap out to enable sound of in-game videos and emulators. If you wish to try out this feature:

  • Close Anarchy Arcade.
  • Overwrite the following DLL file with the one from the "libretro_sound_enabled" sub-folder: Anarchy Arcade/aarcade/bin/client.dll Be sure to go into Arcade Options and set your libretro sound options afterwards. The in-game emulator cores can be found on www.libretro.com. Libretro is updated daily, but if you are new to Libretro, here is a good pack of cores to put into your Anarchy Arcade/aarcade/cores folder: http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/win-x86/2015-03-25_cores.7z As long as your regular Windows versions of the emulators are configured in Anarchy Arcade, the libretro ones will automatically work in-game. Note that only 2D emulators have in-game support at this time.
