Hello Animal Shelter Players! 👋
We have been talking about really big things coming to Animal Shelter 2, but often the key is in the details! 😺 So today we are showing you a bit of those details that even if small, were given a huge touch up and plenty of improvements! And all of those small and big changes coming on July 20!

🐾 New Player Interactions with Various Objects! 🐾
We’ve added a range of new interactions that make the world feel more responsive and detailed. Players can now engage with more objects in meaningful ways, from subtle environmental interactions to small quality-of-life actions that improve immersion. These additions help make everyday gameplay feel more natural, dynamic, and less static.
🧭 General refinements! 🧭
The overall interaction system has been refined to feel smoother and more intuitive. We’ve improved responsiveness, and gave a good layer of polish across all gameplay features! We want to make your experience with the game trully smooth, fluid and immersive!
🌿 Expanded system for animal interaction with the environment 🌿
Animals now interact with their surroundings in more varied and believable ways. They can respond to different environmental elements, explore their space more naturally, and exhibit behaviors that reflect their mood and needs. This makes each animal feel more alive and connected to the world around them, rather than just occupying space.
🧠 Comprehensive improvements to animal and NPC AI 🧠
We’ve significantly improved both animal and NPC AI to create more intelligent, realistic, and responsive behavior. Animals now better react to conditions, routines, improved pathfinding while NPCs handle tasks more efficiently and make smarter decisions in daily shelter operations. Everything should feel now more natural, believable, and smooth with animals, NPCs that act as they should be!
