Hey everyone!
Welcome to our second public playtest patch for Seth! This new patch brings Seth to a whole new level of chaos—with visceral combat, brand-new monsters, upgraded powers, and a bunch of quality-of-life improvements. It’s time to test your skills all over again.

New Visual & Combat Effects
- Enemies now bleed when injured... and sometimes get dismembered upon death.
- Bullet impacts are now clearly visible on enemy bodies, making every shot feel impactful.
Tons of new upgrades have been added:
- Healing can be more effective, making survival a bit more forgiving... for now.
- More spells can now be stored.
- Spells deal increased base damage.
- You can store more shield at once.
- Shield will decay slower.
- You can now reroll your power choices between rooms — once per run.
- 10% chance to receive a power of higher rarity.
- One item at the merchant is now discounted by 30%.
New Enemies & Boss Encounters
Introducing new enemies to keep you on your toes:
- High Priest – Now appears as a mini-boss. Model and animations are for now a duplicate of the base priest, will be changed later
- Herald of Apophis – New 3D model,with new footsteps SFX.
- Akhou – New 3D model, still a work in progress, but now reflects the intended design.
- Priest – Added a secondary attack
Other Big Improvements
Several combat rooms received major design upgrades, including:
- Destructible floors triggered by explosions
- Water elements to change movement and combat dynamics
- Entirely new rooms added to the map pool
- Improved procedural animation system for enemies
- New music for the final boss
Bug Fixes
Countless. Seriously. A lot. We’ve squashed a ton of bugs thanks to your feedback and reports. Keep them coming!
Important Note – Leaderboard Reset
The leaderboard has been reset. All current scores were wiped so that everyone starts this patch on even footing. Don’t worry: you'll keep your collected Heka. Use it wisely to power up with the new upgrades and claim your spot at the top once again.
