Apologies for sharing details about an event in Japan, but we will be hosting an event at a Capcom-owned store that offers attendees the chance to experience gameplay from the PS5 version of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, as well as enjoy an XR video. The gameplay experience is the same as the one showcased at Gamescom 2025, while the XR video allows viewers to wear a VR headset and watch an intense sword fight between Musashi and Ganryu.
I was so overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of it that I actually let out a gasp! We don’t plan to sell the XR video as a product, so while I do hope there may be an opportunity to showcase it at an overseas event, I would much rather prioritise giving people the chance to actually play the game.
