Today we’d like to introduce one of our formidable foes "Greater Nue".
“Nue” is a yōkai from Kyoto folklore known for its distinctive form, a fusion of several beasts: the head of a monkey, the body of a tanuki, the tail of a snake, and the limbs of a tiger. It’s said that its cry resembles that of a Thrush… and you might just hear that sound during your battle with Greater Nue.
Legends also claim that the Nue once appeared in “a certain place” in Kyoto. I hope you’ll let your imagination run wild and look forward to facing it in the game!
