It’s the end of November! It’s a pretty hectic month for us, as Smith’s Chronicles participates in so many great events and developments still progressing nicely.
Events
Shop Keepers Event (1-15 November 2025)
First, we participated in the Shop Keepers Event on Steam! Steam event showcasing many great games with a Shop Management mechanic, from restaurant to shop automation sim.
Ancient Costume Festival (3-17 November 2025)
We also participated in the Ancient Costume Festival, a steam event focused on Traditional Clothing from many different cultures around the world. As a game with a medieval fantasy theme inspired by many cultures around the world, we are lucky to have been selected for this event.
2025 Winter OTK Expo (22 November - 3 December 2025)
We have been selected to showcase Smith’s Chronicles for the pre-show of the 2025 Winter OTK Expo! Organized by One True King, or OTK, one of the most influential content creator organizations in the world, this event is pretty competitive for game developers to participate in. In this event, we were given the opportunity to show our exclusive trailer. We’re working hard on this trailer. We hope you liked the trailer!
G2G Festival 2025 (22-23 November 2025)
Last but not least, we are invited to showcase the demo of Smith’s Chronicles for the first time at Gamers 2 Gamers Festival 2025, the biggest Indonesian gaming show produced by The Lazy Monday. We received so much positive feedback and valuable input from Indonesian gamers at the event that we can use in our development. Terimakasih!
1000+ WISHLIST!
Thanks to your support and numerous event opportunities in November, we have reached over 1000+ wishlist entries on Steam! This is great motivation for us to develop the game, and hopefully a start to more visibility and wishlist, so our game can reach more fans of blacksmithing and life sim genres.
Development Updates
Visual
Some items have been added to enhance the visual of the game:
New Fountain
Wood Cutting Table
Loot Drop Item
Fuel/Coal System
We implemented a fuel/coal system in the smelting mechanic. Now, players must add coal or wood each time they smelt raw materials.
Fishing
To make fishing more intuitive, we changed our previous keybind.
Whew, that's a lot of updates in one month! Thank you so much for reading this devlog. Keep the forge blazin'!
