Patch 0.9035
We’ve got an update today, but users on low end machines (<4GB RAM, <1GB VRAM) may have some problems running it because of new lights, so we’re putting this on the beta branch. If you download it and it doesn’t work, you can revert to the non-beta version.
To download the new patch:
1. go to your library, right click on The Four Kings and select properties.
2. Go BETAS
3. Enter the code “fourkings9035”
4. This should allow you to select the beta from the drop down (may require a steam restart).
Fixes
- Added a reward list to the options menu, click on the trophy icon in options
- First pass of the tutorial is in. You should see some helpful tips if pop up if you’re new or if you go to Options → Settings → Other → Reset tutorials.
- Added some dynamic lights for high end machines. These can be adjusted in the Graphics settings.
- Game should automatically detect settings when starting for the first time.
- Updated slots to a new back end. It should function identically, but it lays the groundwork for the future.
- Poker pot updates as people bet now.
- You’ll see a notification on the main menu when you have a pending friend request.
- Bingo pays out consolation RP even if you don’t win. This is proportional to the buy-in. Still needs some tuning.
- Fixed some issues with News & Notifications
- Fixed some issues with the Store display
- Adjusted the prices of many items within the store.
- Fixed some graphical errors at particular resolutions
