Adjusted mission names and descriptions to be more helpful in understanding what each mission type represents
Added some potential data console & pickup tool/weapon spawn points to two medium sized transitional rooms that didn’t have any
Adjusted hitbox on explosive barrel/tanks to be more accurate
Fixes for buggy spark sounds on exploding electrical wall screen traps
Added information screens to the POD near each tool to convey helpful information from the Field Guide directly within the game
First steps to cleaning up “the thing that killed you” names on the YOU DIED screen after player death
Art
Continued art improvements in several rooms
Stability & General Bugs
Revised menu music and lowered mission complete volume and ensured it replicates to all players, not just the server host
Servers will no longer allow new players to join once players have loaded into the POD, making it only possible to join when a server is in the “lobby” screen (this will eliminate the 'joined late - airlock goes to empty space' bug and improve overall mission launch stability)
Made “Field Guide” information more prominently visible from the main menu
Reduced volume of scanner sounds
Reduced bugginess of explosion SFX
Coming Soon
We've started the process to update our engine version from Unreal 5.3 to 5.4, which should bring a large performance improvement, but can take a while to sort out to ensure it doesn't introduce any bugs, and/or to fix anything that the update breaks.
Another near-term goal is to get Private vs Public server options up, so you can ensure a friends-only server when desired
VOIP - it's currently in but gain, volume, and sensitivity have all needed a lot of tweaking to get right, so that's still WIP.
