Game Crashing Bug Has Been Fixed

UPDATE:
Small patch again tonight, because I optimized the default graphics settings, and also forgot to delete the AutoExec out of the files for Steam on the main release.

Also, it's the anisotropic filtering, not antialiasing, that was turned down, and texture filtering was reduced to linear, instead of trilinear. Basically if you have above 1 gb of gddr3 video RAM, you can probably turn these settings up without crashing the GZDOOM engine.

==============================

The single bug/error that I know of in the game, that I know of, stressing that part here; has been fixed. It was definitly being caused by the texture filtering and AA set up and my potato PC simply not having the VRAM required for such things with the games texture sizes. So now the config file is updated to run on potato PCs universally, while retaining the aesthetic of the vision. If you costomize your display you can back up "GZDoom_portable" so future updates do not replace your settings. Simply delete any updated config file and replace it with your saved one.

I also deleted the autoexec file because it's job was to launch the specific iWad file running A Fool's Art Gallery, but that is already being done in the pack file, so was causing an error of no specific consequences, but frame rate seemed to improve a bit, so there is that.

And also I don't know when, or how, but the Steam game launch was configured wrong for X period of time, that is now sorted out; as is the same issue for the German version.

So you can now walk around as long as you want, everywhere, forever, without your game crashing, in theory. If this is simply not true, or you find any other issues, please report them in the game error/glitch forum, I want to make sure my game(s) all run properly for everyone. One of the reasons for choosing the GZDOOM engine was it's universal nature. On that note a Linux distribution is planned for the future, I just have to set up a Linux drive on my PC and get the files all sorted out for Steam. All my current Linux devices are Raspberry Pis. I have to do this soon anyway, as Windows 7 is being dropped and I hate Windows 10/11, so must evolve to Linux. Windows 7 will still be my work OS just because so many software packages I use run on it already, but over time I am sure Linux will slowly replace it entirely.

I am probably making the German trailer later today, and need to get that up; and then also am planning the Psychedelic Trailer showing some of the environments more.

And as for future updates and content, I got some pretty crazy ideas planned; right now I am cleaning up some animation which will probably be the first major update, and need to scan and colour the full cat animation (50 frames of hand drawn cat walk cycle.) which I think will be the first major update's center piece.

For example seen below; Corporate Lady, NPCs are getting full shading and highlighting and final touches before variants are then made too. Corporate Lady was the very first NPC I tried animating in the GZDOOM engine in this quest to make a video game, so her animation is a bit less refined that I would like; so in a far, far far, far, far future update I am probably going to redraw her from scratch.
