We've been hard at work adding achievements to the game, as achievements can provide a more solid sense of accomplishment when making progress throughout the game. BUT, as I see it, achievements in themselves are not enough to fulfill a sense of accomplishment when playing our game.
We've tried to pull off a few things when keeping the implementation of achievements in mind:

- 1. They need to be actual achievements. Grinding for an achievement is not reward enough in itself, we like to see people mastering this game, and as such, will be adding only achievements that we feel the player has to really fight to earn.
- 2. We're eager to add more achievements as we see players getting better, and if we see that achievements actually brings value to the game experience. If you have any ideas for future achievements, please let us know.
- 3. We've avoided adding achievements for scores and best times, and instead added online leaderboards so you can challange friends/rivals. We've intentionally split the game into an online mode and a local mode, so that players who are happy with their own progress can avoid competing on a global scale.
- 4. We wanted to reward the player in-game while also being awarded an achievement on Steam, but the game has many versions, some without any Steam connection. We've hopefully added enough content for players to do a new round of exploration, and later we might explore further the possibility of joining both in-game rewards with achievements.
- 5. BUT, we thought it may be a great idea to hint at the new hidden content that is being added. From reading the descriptions of the achievements, you can now figure out that there are a total of 6 albums in the game, that there are secret new moves, and that you can obtain Ultimate Power etc. So the achievement page in itself becomes useful when trying to completing the game.
The new update will be available very soon, and we'll announce it right here when it does! Hope you'll enjoy the extra additions!
