Drums of War are Beating...
The first stage of Dragon’s Prophet’s evolution in 2014 is under way. With the upcoming Dragon Arena, Dragon Compendium and Dragon Evolution system, a seismic shift in the future vision for the game is upon us.
What is Evolution.Phase.One?
There is still much work to be done to build, optimize and balance Dragon’s Prophet. Multiple features and improvements are planned as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance this ever-evolving game. Phase One began with the integration of PvE Mounted Combat, the new region of Olandra and Legendary Dungeon Shrine of Handras, released earlier in January, and the announcement of the Osiran Council.
Next Major Content Update
Our goal is to release the next major Evolution.Phase.One update towards the end of February. We will revise mounted combat once again to make it more interesting. At the end of February you can expect the Dragon Arena, Dragon Compendium and Dragon Evolution, which we originally planned for early February, but feel that the systems need more polish before release.
The development team is still working on the removal of bugs and addressing the ongoing crash problem. In the future, all class systems will be expanded, we are working on a 100 Level “Towering” Dungeon (yes, we are totally serious!) and of course more regions and dragons. The World Boss Event, which has been highly popular, will be expanded too.
Player Council
The Osiran Council (OC) will be the first player-elected council for Dragon’s Prophet. Tasked with representing the views of the community, they will be involved in direct talks with Infernum and Runewaker and help shape the ongoing development of Dragon’s Prophet. You can apply for candidacy or vote for council members once the submission phase is completed.
Evolution at its Essence
There are a range of activities planned to engage in before the next content update is ready for launch, such as the Lunar Festival starting today, large-scale ingame events and some opportunities to win some “dragon epic” rewards. Stay tuned to the website over the next few weeks and prepare for a few surprises to take flight.
Together with the dev team, we want to deliver a more refined experience to ensure new content is functioning smoothly and is, above all, fun. The anticipation for Dragon Arena can be felt across Auratia, as dragons and their owners prepare themselves for combat. Are you prepared?
