As most dragons, Kryon’s mother Liucai lived in the wide open spaces of Auratia before he hatched. Even if nobody recollects the name of Kryon’s father today, everybody knows that after his death, Liucai left Auratia in mourning to settle down in an unknown land.
Due to his thorns, which sparkle in the moonlight like dewdrops and merge with the sea water, Kryon is often called "the Lapizthorn". He doesn’t have any eyes and cannot swim, but still, fish and other sea creatures never escape his fine nose when he silently hovers above the water surface. During daytime, he rests in woody and rocky areas where he is almost invisible due to his unique camouflage.
