Skitterbunny Jr. is a lot like his father, Skitterbunny, in many ways. They’re both the same breed of dragon, they both have bunny ears, they also share a colourful spotty, Ostara skin tone. What Skitterbunny Jr. doesn’t share with his father is a tendency to also hunt down the eggs of other dragons!
This has been sighted before but the real reason behind this new Skitter behavior has only come to light this Ostara. It seems that like all other Skitterbunnies, the junior version will also hunt and hoard the Ostara eggs. However after a population boom, the number of Skitterbunnies was too high, and so the Ostara eggs quickly disappeared from Auratia. Skitterbunny Jr. saw a normal dragon egg with spots on, and decided that this would have to do instead. He couldn’t be seen by all the others with no eggs!
He travelled up and down Auratia, collecting every wild egg, incurring the wrath of several angry Ancients along the way. But he looked after his eggs, and when they hatched the dragons grow up to be normal, albeit with a mysterious penchant for Ostara time.
