An old foe’s revenge awaits…
General Deyarka was imprisoned in a huge bastille connected to Deyarka Moutains during the Second Dragon War. But the main access to the jail was destroyed by the Legendary Dragons' fierce attacks during the war. The building slowly fell into abandon and became a no-go zone, attracting giants which lived in Avanah Forest and all kind of deadly creatures.
This situation allowed Rodrick Deyarka to play around as he pleased with this damaged structure. The giants allowed him to transport the materials for creating Undead Dragons into the deepest part of the building, as well as setting up numerous traps.
At present, everything is already in place. Deyarka Bastille is filled with whispers of hatred towards the Legendary Dragons. Undead creatures created by the power of the Legendary Dragon of Creation roam within, ready to drag the world into an abyss of death...
A poisonous atmosphere
Before even facing Deyarka’s hostile inhabitants, you will first have to survive its maybe most dangerous trap: a poisoned, suffocating atmosphere. The air has been filled with hazardous gases, which will slowly infiltrate your body, preventing you from fighting at the best of your abilities.
The only way to counter this trap is to arrive geared up with rare anti-poisonous components which can only be gathered in Omati Gorge, Silia Shrine and Mount Sorthina.
These rare substances will only protect you for 3 hours, so if you intend to venture within the Bastille for a longer time, do not forget to pack these!
Deyarka’s Guardians
Other than mechanical defences, Deyarka has got the giants to serve as guards in exchange for an unending supply of food. Furthermore, he transformed three of his minions, which were killed by Osirans, into battle puppets. He did all this in order to create the Undead Dragon "Gairos" without interference.
