In addition to our game’s fanwork policy, I think it would be good if we made it more clear in the case of fan games (doujin games).
I’ll keep this short and informative:
1. If you don’t sell your fan game, you can do whatever you want to do. You have 100% freedom.
2. If you are going to sell your game just don’t use the extracted model files from Project Nimbus in your work.
3. Fan-made (doujin) game’s stories are non-canon.
4. Project Nimbus IP is ours. Your creation is yours. If anyone steals your work and says that it’s a fan-made thing tell them that the creator of Project Nimbus stands by your side. You have our permission to do fan-made games and art with your own creations.
We are very excited and glad that our work can inspire other creators. If you want to do fanworks of our game, we’re very glad and encouraging you to do this. It’s just if you want to make a commercial game, please don’t use model files extracted from Project Nimbus. If you make your own art and models in your fan-made game you can sell it.
