Welcome to Kingdom Wars 2: Battles EA launch.
Thank You for joining us, and we hope together we can make KW2B into a true RTS masterpiece.
Open Development
With Alpha testing complete, Kingdom Wars II: Battles has a solid foundation in place, and the game is already a lot of fun and stable; We think that the time is right to get the Steam community involved. Over the following months, we will work together, and your combined player feedback will determine what the team works on, and what features we add.
Our team will do everything in our power to open up the development and commit to weekly updates. We plan to talk with our players directly in-game, and read and reply to almost every forum suggestion and reports. Players will be asked to vote on features proposed by other players, and our team will do our best to add most desired ideas, and features in-game.
Please keep in mind, that KW2B is a work in progress. And while we did our best to eradicate most bugs prior to Early Access launch, it is far from perfect. In addition - as we are adding new player requested features we expect new bugs, and issue to arise.
KW1 Players
We are taking special care of our KW1 players, with special discounts on KW2 EA, and KW1 bonuses for playing KW2. You should have received email on Monday with all the details prior to EA launch.
And to remind you - we are planning a huge update to KW1 this Spring, that will introduce all the awesome KW2 tech into KW1. Our goal is to make KW1 absolutely lag-free, without any crashes, with new awesome pathfinding, and 4 player PVP battles, and so much more. While some might view us releasing a new game as negative, one way to think about it - is - we are investing a lot of time and resources into a massive KW1 update, and meanwhile releasing another awesome game.:)
Alpha Players
Good news - due to overwhelming Alpha participation, we decided to give back. So all Alpha CD keys are now good for retail. There is nothing you need to do; your alpha key automatically works with Early Access, and Retail later on. We just wanted to give back to our community with this gift as our way of saying thank you to our early supporters, and for the great community feedback during this time.
