Hi, everyone! Thank you all for your patience waiting for this patch, I hope it will be worth it for many of you who have had issues with the game, performance or mechanics-wise.
A lot more minor bugs have been reported on the discussion board, which is great. The following features that I prioritized over the last few days to fix and add, and more fixes will come soon (as well as a minor content update, in the near future.)
Here is a log of all the changes this patch brings:
ENEMY AI:
- Stealth is now more viable, as enemy spotting and behaviour now properly takes darkness, crouching, height difference into account.
- NPCs such as police, guards, etc., who aren't initially hostile, will no longer be permanently hostile after combat ceases and panic has calmed down.
- Robots now properly lose aggro when you activate the cloak ability.
- Enemies such as police should now no longer auto-attack the player if they are nearby after killing hostiles such as drug addicts.
QOL:
- 16:10 resolutions added.
- VSync now properly disables.
- Added FPS cap options to the main menu options screen, to assist with performance on higher Hz monitors.
- Added options for borderless window and windowed mode.
- Movement/WASD keys now rebind properly.
- Rebindings save properly.
- Mouse sensitivity saves properly and has numerical values.
- Quick Wheel can now be rebound.
- Rebinding now works for extra mouse buttons.
- Can now press Escape to exit the quick wheel.
- Discord link on the Main Menu works again.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Dog Eat Dog now functions properly.
STORY/QUESTS/MAPS:
- Softlock in Mission 6 dialogue with Brethren Slave fixed.
- Alternate exit from the Ozz club is now more apparent.
- "Fake" vents in Mission 8 fixed.
- More dialogue prompts added for important side objectives in Mission 7 Part 2 and Mission 9.
- Pink mystery cubes removed from Mission 3 Part 1.
- Killing the target in Mission 7 Part 2 before speaking to him now has secondary objective consequences.
- Computer in Mission 7 Part 2 can now be interacted with.
- Claw no longer has a full conversation from the start in Mission 2 Part 1.
- Certain gang members now properly become passive when they should in Mission 7 Part 2.
ABILITIES/PLAYER:
- Soothing Touch now saves properly.
- Neck Breaker kills are now correctly recorded.
- Reputation and Mentality now properly display in the post-game debrief.
- Psychic Shield for Biohack now functions properly if the player is below 25 health.
- Smartgun no longer targets your own Construct turrets.
MISC:
- Floating keycards fixed.
- Cars will no longer gain sentience.
- Accuracy of Perforator sniper rifle reduced when hipfiring.
- Molotov fire sometimes being invisible and eternal fixed.
- Various minor map errors fixed in Mission 2, Mission 4.
- Rats no longer immune to fire.
- Conversation box no longer gets cut-off in 21:9 ratio.
- No more floating fire after a person burns to death.
- Visual effect for Cranium Replacement no longer carries over to Alexander.
