Hi everyone,
It's been a wild day and a half since release, first of all I just wanted to say how grateful I am to everyone who's tried the game out so far. Even if you have problems with it, aren't happy, I am still grateful for all of the feedback regardless, as well as all the bug reports which I have filed away in a list. Don't think I'm not reading these, I try to respond to as many as possible too. I want PARKSIDE to be as good as it can be, just like many of you want, and I will do my best.
It's been a blast seeing everybody have fun, experiment, just enjoy the vibes of the game, it warms my heart knowing people have an appetite for games like PARKSIDE, and that I have had a chance to try and fill the void, even if it doesn't rub everyone the right way. Hopefully it will soon, for some of those people, who are having problems with the game or aren't quite satisfied yet.
Despite a few hiccups requiring a couple of initial patches, I'm proud that I was able to deliver a pretty much finished experience without resorting to Early Access (not that it's a bad business model, just not sometihng I wanted to do.)
I will try my best to push more patches & bugfixes over the coming week, when time allows. Aside from dev I work full time and have a kid, so I'm pretty busy when it's not the weekend, I get a couple of hours in the evening (depending on how my child manages to get to sleep) to dev so I will work away quietly when I can.
Thank you all so much again, the response to the game has been overwhelming and so exciting, I will do my best to fix any issues. Please reach out on the discussion board or join the Discord server if you want to talk about any problems or just chat, I'm always watching....
