Campaign 152 starts today and there's several important changes that you need to read about. We're introducing new critical balancing mechanisms to help improve our underpopulated side's situation to help maintain stability in the Campaign. We've also added 1 new division (per side) into the game to give High Command officers greater coverage and flexibility on the map. CRS is actively working to help make the game fun for all, and to give the underpopulated side (regardless of which side or time zone that is) to have a fighting chance. These changes are going into effect TODAY.
CAPTURE TIMERS - ACCORDING TO POPULATION
Capture Timers will now change according to the underpopulated / overpopulated situation. This is a significant development that directly works to better serve the balancing act of the game without directly impacting players ability to enter the game world. Capturing is the second most important thing that happens in our game (along with the First Person Shooter component) and it is the single greatest thing that is causing the most grief for the side who does not have more personnel.
Standard Capture Timers (no balancing)
- 1 Soldier > 300 Seconds
- 2 Soldiers > 270 Seconds
- 3 Soldiers > 240 Seconds
- 4 Soldiers > 210 Seconds
- 5 Soldiers > 180 Seconds
- 6 Soldiers > 160 Seconds
- 7 Soldiers > 140 Seconds
- 8 Soldiers > 120 Seconds
- 9 Soldiers > 90 Seconds
- 10+ Soldiers > 60 Seconds
NEW: Balancing Capture Timers (according to imbalance)
When there is an imbalance starting at 1% (up to 50%), the following will occur:
- Underpopulated side receives bonus faster capture speed by X%
- Overpopulated side receives penalty slower capture speed by X%
So for example, if there is a 25% population difference, the following will occur:
- Underpopulated side = 25% faster capture timers
- Overpopulated side = 25% slower capture timers
You cannot have more than a 50% bonus or penalty. So if there is a 70% imbalance, the maximum bonus or penalty is 50% timers impacted on both sides.
SUPPLY CHANGES
- After moving a brigade from one town to the next, it'll require the following time to get full supply available:
- NOW: 60 minutes
- Delivery of supply will trickle in at a rate of:
- Every 3 minutes (20 units per interval)
- Previously: 30 minutes (20 units per 1.5 minutes)
- NOW: 60 minutes
- After capturing your spawn point (in an enemy town) supply will come in at the following rate:
- NOW: 10 units per 3 minutes
- Previously: 15 units per 3 minutes
