Hi there! We are glad to welcome everyone who is interested in Escape from the Nursing Home!
I am one of the two members of the Simul Games team, and concurrently the only programmer. The development of the game is going pretty well now. All basic mechanics have been completed, so now we are polishing the game - removing bugs and making minor changes to the balance. At the moment we have a few unfinished tasks: sounds / music, translation into other languages, and some "escapes". I will try posting on Steam weekly - talk about the work done, supplement screenshots and videos, and and also hope to see community interest topics.
And now about the topic of the post - the demo version.
We decided to release a demo version, in the form of tutorial for the game. This will give everyone the opportunity to try the little part of our game. The tutorial will have very limited functionality and map, however, this is enough for a general concept of game mechanics. Some mechanics are removed from the demo version for simplification.
So. We plan to release a DEMO version on 07/28/2023. Now everything is going according to plan. The demo version is playable, but it also has not finished sounds and translating. I hope it will be interesting for you to go through the demo version. There is only a week left before its release!
