Raiders, welcome to Patch 0.8.275. This update introduces localization to the project. We have also made several adjustments to the area outside Prometheus’ cage to make the experience clearer, along with a set of bug fixes.
What’s Changed
Localization
One of the key elements of this update is localization. Starting with Italian, we will gradually release the supported languages in this and the upcoming patches. Here is where we call on our raider community. Localization has been carried out using internal team resources and procedures, and we know it may not be perfect. For this reason, we are asking for your help. We will open a dedicated channel on our Discord community where you will be able to suggest improvements and corrections. We are truly excited to bring Hell Galaxy to additional languages, and we hope you can assist us in this important mission.
Alters Area Changes
Following your feedback, we have made improvements to better balance the area and make it easier to read. We have moved the Prometheus Cage Station to make it more visible. We have also repositioned the interactive object at the end of the quest so that the player spawns in a better location once the quest is completed. In addition, we have increased the visibility of collectible objects during the quest to improve orientation and navigability. We have also rewritten and added portions of dialogues to provide clearer feedback throughout the quest.
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug that caused a crash if you returned to the start menu during a dialogue.
Looking Ahead
In the next updates, we will gradually release the localizations for all supported languages.
We are reworking the Alters area to make the experience more enjoyable, rewarding, and suitably unsettling.
We are working on introducing new combat gameplay against a new type of enemy: capital ships. But that is a story for another time, raiders.
