Hello, Horde!
How are you? We have quite an announcement for you today… International Women’s Day is just around the corner, and we absolutely couldn’t ignore it. Let’s celebrate the wisdom, beauty, and broadly understood greatness of our Lady Moriana! We’ve prepared quite a treat for you on this occasion. A regular update that brings not only gameplay tweaks, but also visual improvements. Let’s take a look!
WARDROBE UPGRADE
This update doesn’t introduce new skins, BUT it significantly enhances the existing outfits. We know you love them, but we felt they deserved a proper makeover to truly stand out and feel more distinct from one another.
From now on, almost every costume features:
💀 A unique hairstyle;
💀 A distinct resurrection color;
💀 An exclusive soul animation (the item Moriana holds in her hand).
Go check it out, and torment the living in even better style!
WE NEED TO GO… FASTER
Speaking of tormenting the living… we listened to your feedback and decided to refine the leveling system. With this update, you’ll level up approximately 50% faster than before, and we’ve increased the number of tiers for some perks to as many as 8!
This should make each run far more engaging and significantly less tedious.
Of course, we still have plenty in store for the next major update when it comes to enhancing the feeling of growing stronger and more unstoppable. But we believe this is a solid first step. Definitely give it a try and let us know how Be My Horde feels now!
THAT DICK
Among the more significant changes, we’ve also improved the boss fight with Richard III Ovine (a.k.a. “that silly, chubby royal Dick” — Moriana).
From now on, ALL of his attacks can be avoided without the need to upgrade Moriana’s skills or abilities. However, don’t get us wrong - it’s still going to be a challenge, so we recommend preparing yourself for facing his mighty hammer. Don’t underestimate the Dominion upgrades!
We also fixed an issue where Moriana could sometimes take damage even after successfully moving outside the radius of Richard’s attacks.
Thanks to these changes, the battle against this crowned nuisance should remain tough and exciting, but far more fair.
WHAT’S MORE?
The skin makeovers, revamped leveling system, and improved boss fight are not all of course. This update also comes with additional balance tweaks, especially in the Hell levels.
The detailed patch notes are below for those of you who want to dive deeper:
CHANGES
💀 Almost every skin now features a unique hairstyle, distinct resurrection color, and an exclusive soul animation.
💀 Leveling speed increased by 50%.
💀 The number of perk upgrade tiers has been increased from 5 to 8. Their maximum power level should remain similar to the previous version.
💀 Leveling speed in Hell now matches the leveling speed in Kingdom. Previously, it was about 30% slower.
💀 King’s attack damage against Moriana has been reduced to prevent situations where he could one-shot her if the player had not purchased any health upgrades.
💀 King’s movement speed during Jump Attack has been reduced, making the attack avoidable even without any movement speed upgrades. The only exception is the final enrage phase after 6 minutes of the boss fight.
💀 The fifth enrage phase of the King and the Devil now begins only after 6 minutes of the fight and is no longer based on their HP.
💀 Updated the Credits.
💀 Updated most perk descriptions to make them clearer and more readable.
BALANCE
💀 Frost stacks applied by Frost Bolt reduced by 60%.
💀 Cavalry/Managers frost resistance increased from 85% to 90%.
💀 Paladins/Directors frost resistance increased from 90% to 95%.
💀 Mages/Kettles frost resistance increased from 95% to 98%.

💀 Fire resistance granted by the talent increased from 7.5% to 10%.
💀 On Hell 1–3, the number of enemies between minutes 11 and 14 has been increased to prevent situations where players cannot find any enemies on the map.

💀 Devil HP reduced by 15%.
💀 Devil auto-attack damage against Moriana reduced by 50%.

💀 Mage fireball explosion radius reduced by 25%.
💀 Priest flat healing reduced by 50%
💀 Priest base healing range increased by 10%.
💀 Healing Blizzard nerfed — healing for Moriana reduced by 95% as it was heavily overperforming, making Moriana almost unkillable.
💀 All HUB buildings that grant additional rerolls now provide 2 rerolls instead of 1.
FIXES
💀 Fixed an issue where Kings’ attacks could hit Moriana even when she was outside the attack radius indicator.
💀 Lowered the chance of rolling the Summoning Circles and Graves perks to match the probability of other perks.
💀 Fixed the Paladin talent that increases attack radius. It now matches the description (100% → 50%).
💀 Fixed an issue causing strange behavior of enemy Priests after selecting the perk that adds enrage to their healing.
💀 Fixed Moriana’s hitbox location.
💀 Fixed an issue where minions gathered around the King’s shadow during Jump Attack.
💀 King can now correctly cast his Sheep Bombardment attack again.
💀 Mages can no longer attack while frozen.
💀 Missing localization has been added in all languages.
💀 King’s Shockwave attack now properly scales with all enrage phases.
💀 Fixed the issue with the game connecting to the server on launch, even when the option to send data was turned off. It wasn't sending any data at the time, but it still wasn't the proper behavior.
