So much time has passed since you last walked the lands of Whisper of the Swallows, back during the Steam Next Fest
Since then, countless improvements and new features have taken shape. The world is finally ready to open its gates again.
I’m truly excited to announce that the permanent demo will be available in two weeks.
And this time, it will stay open forever.
What’s in this free demo?
Discover the vast frozen lands of Unshū, where deadly storms are never far behind.
Endure the unforgiving survival experience of Whisper of the Swallows.
Play solo or in co-op with up to six friends
When you create a world, you’ll have four in-game days to explore, craft, survive, and try to reach the highest possible score.
You can restart and experiment as many times as you wish. Thanks to procedural generation, every attempt unfolds in a unique world.
And the challenge?
Your score reflects how well you master the early stages of the game.
A leaderboard is available from the welcome page, and you can track your score directly in-game.
If you play in co-op, your team shares a single score. Invite your friends and reach new heights!
The playtesters and I have already set the bar quite high... though to be fair, we might have a small advantage - we know every storm and shadow by heart 😜
But I’m sure you’ll manage to beat us soon enough.
I’ll tell you more soon about the score system and what it really takes to reach the top.
