A few weeks ago, the YouTuber Drake Summers and I launched a contest to celebrate his 100th NEO Scavenger video. In it, we asked players to submit ideas for new t-shirts in the game.
Well, the submission period is over, Drake's compiled the results, and I had a chance to look them over today. We had several dozen entries, including both written and drawn ideas. Some were quite clever. Others were funny. All were creative, and it was interesting to see how players interpret the world of NEO Scavenger!
After reviewing the ideas, I've narrowed the submissions down to my five favorite ones. These are the ones that I could totally picture someone scavenging from an old dresser in the ruins of Michigan. Behold, the finalists!
To cast your vote, visit the official t-shirt voting poll. Voting will continue over the weekend, and Monday evening, the winner will be chosen! I'll make the t-shirt into official game data, and we should be seeing folks wearing it in the upcoming build!
Drake has also mentioned he'd like to do a showcase of the entries on his YouTube channel, so when that video is live, I'll be sure to post a link here. That way, you'll get to see some of the other great entries from the contest.
