Update #2: Dice with Death!
The shadowy face of Death stalks the land!
As a special Halloween treat, the Grim Reaper will take part in all of your Talisman games. The music has a temporarily spooky feel to it too! Please note that this is NOT the Reaper expansion pack, merely one small part of it.
See below for a brief run-down of how he will stalk you.
Fixes -
AI fixes -
Alchemy Spell and Alchemist Follower usage improved.
AI players will now target weaker players and avoid stronger players when moving.
Elf will no longer move between Woods spaces so much.
Druid would sometimes get stuck in an infinite loop of choosing cards, now fixed.
AI being undecided about who to visit at the Village fixed.
AI's suicidal tendencies improved.
AI checks to see if it has a Talisman before rolling at the Warlock's Cave.
AI will always roll to use Armour if it has some.
Spells -
Divinity - Adventure cards are now displayed in secret.
Temporal Warp - can now be cast in the Inner Region.
Command - is now classed as a spell and can therefore be countered.
Immobility - usage made clearer.
Destruction - can now be cast after moving.
Counterspell - could be cast by Toads! Fixed.
Other fixes -
Settings button displayed - the Spanner icon on the left of the screen opens the settings screen.
Thief is now Neutral.
Marker to show when a character has lost all of their lives.
Players can no longer see a Prophetess' drawn spell.
The Grim Reaper -
Whenever any player rolls a 1 for their movement, they have their turn as normal, but then they get to move the Reaper! They roll again to move the Reaper (double-click a space to move him), using normal movement rules, but with these exceptions -
The Reaper can move freely between the Outer and Middle Regions.
The Reaper can not move into the Inner Region.
If the Reaper lands on a space with one or more characters, the player who moved the Reaper must choose a choose a character on that space for the Reaper to visit. The player controlling that character then rolls one die and consults the chart that appears to see what happens...
1) Lose all lives.
2) Lose a random Follower, or lose 1 life if you have no Followers.
3) Dice with Death - roll 2 dice for yourself and 2 dice for the Reaper. If the Reaper's result is higher, you lose 1 life. Otherwise, there is no effect.
4) Miss your next turn.
5) The Reaper visits another character of your choice, who must then roll on this chart.
6) You may choose to gain either 1 Strength, Craft, life, gold, Spell, fate, or teleport to any other space in the same region.
The race for the Crown has never been deadlier!
Thanks again for all of the feedback so far and keep it coming!
