Hello! I hope you’re excited because the upcoming Hollow Mine v0.3 demo is packed with new features. I’ve carefully reviewed feedback from players and YouTubers, and I’m working on a range of exciting changes to enhance your experience!
My main goal is to make the gameplay more intuitive and help players better understand how to navigate Hollow Mine. I’m also enhancing progression with new abilities and an improved crafting system. You’ll feel your character growing stronger, with more opportunities to upgrade weapons through crafting. Additionally, I’m addressing the issue of weapon durability—there will always be new weapons available when you’re close to running out.
Upcoming Features and changes:
Character Amazon
Master of agility and polearm user. She specialises at keeping the enemies at bay while fighting with spear
Extended Settings
With new options to enable/disable vsync, screen shake and camera effects.
Tutorial section about collecting experience and leveling up
Game didn't informed enough that collecting balls left by enemies makes your character to level up. Now there will be a dedicated section about it in tutorial.
Tutorial section about destroying walls, mining and collecting ores
Similar case, game didn't teach enough about mining. Digging manually rewards player more, than waiting until the end of room. Once room is finished mining veins blow up and give less ores.
Upgraded Character Picker
New and reorganized character picker window with dedicated section for statistics and initial inventory of individual heros.
There are a lot of lesser changes that improves feel of the game, improves UI and resolves annoying bugs.
