This update primarily affects Steamdeck users by creating an alternative UI layout specifically for the Steamdeck that allows for better readability. The smaller screen and lower resolution made much of the UI hard to comfortably and easily look at. Improvements to text rendering has made text much sharper and clearer in general. Handling for multiple controllers has also been added, allowing for easy switching between gamepads rather than being locked into the first connected gamepad.
