This week's update brings some exciting changes that will enhance your farming experience in ACRES. We've listened to your feedback and have made several improvements, including changes to the way you receive orders and a rebalance of the reputation system.
Incoming Order Selection
Our brand-new order selection menu puts you in the driver's seat! Every day, as the sun rises, you'll have the chance to select from three fresh orders. You can now choose which orders you want to take on, allowing you to tailor your farming experience to your liking. The power to decide is in your hands!
Earning higher reputation allows the farm to take on more orders. Default popup window can be toggled on or off throughout the game based on current order pressures. Select "Auto Select All" to always receive all incoming orders and having a constant stream of revenue.
As you build your reputation in the farming world, you'll unlock the ability to handle even more orders. We've also added a nifty feature that lets you toggle the order selection popup window on or off, depending on the current order pressures. Feeling bold? Opt for "Auto Select All" to automatically accept all incoming orders and maintain a steady stream of revenue.
Harvesting, One Row at a Time
I've made a significant adjustment to the single-row harvester, moving it one row to the side for a more authentic and meticulous crop-harvesting experience. Additionally, I've given the harvester a fresh look, addressing its previous resemblance to a baler. :) We hear your feedback and are dedicated to continuously improving the gameplay experience!
Taking Control of Time
In response to numerous requests, I've added a new game speed option: Pause. Now, alongside the existing slow, 1x, 3x, and 10x speeds, you can halt time altogether. For all you strategy aficionados out there, you'll be delighted to know that the spacebar serves as your quick pause button. Soil Property Bars
Each soil property now has its own progress bar on the HUD, enabling swift visual assessments and illustrating your farm's health and productivity better than before. Keep an eye on these bars to make sure your soil is at its has enough nutrients for crop growth.
Feeding Chickens the Smart Way
We've introduced a nifty feature that lets you hand-plant crops right within the chicken runs. This comes with a host of benefits. As chickens require a well-balanced diet to lay eggs consistently, this new option ensures your feathered friends stay content and well-fed, all without the hassle of relocating the run to a new row. A win-win for both you and your clucking companions!
Additional Updates
- Chickens now contribute to reducing soil compaction at a faster rate.
- The Farmstead License for Honey and Eggs has been made more accessible, requiring only 25 completed orders.
- Tractor animation speed is now synchronized with the game speed, for a seamless gaming experience.
- You can now easily access the Incoming Orders and Global Storage Menu by hitting the TAB key.
- We've included a handy guide for managing loans effectively.
- Experience a progressive order completion compensation multiplier. The more orders you complete, the more rewarding your payouts become.
Bug Squashing
- The Master Audio Slider is now in perfect working order.
- The harvester no longer collides with itself in certain scenarios.
- UI text wrapping for localized fonts has been fixed for a smoother interface.
