Hey folks,
As the Yooka-Replaylee dev team crack on with polishing all those textures up to 4K and Kev moves all those pesky Quills around, I come with an update I think at least one person will be happy to hear!
We are happy to confirm that there WILL be a discount on Yooka-Replaylee for owners of the original game!
We'll go into detail closer to release but for now, start thinking about what you're gonna spend that extra money on! Maybe a celebratory launch kebab (a Steve favourite), some new socks, or perhaps a nice little treat for the pet in your life?
For clarity, this currently only applies to Steam right now as we're yet to announce console support but we'll keep you posted once we have console news!
Yooka-Replaylee is shaping up to be the best game ever definitive way to play and experience the very first of Yooka and Laylee's adventures and we want to recognise and thank all of our original Kickstarter backers and all the folks who supported us by buying Yooka-Laylee in the first place. So thank you! We're putting a lot of love into Yooka-Replaylee and we can't wait for you to see what we've been up to!
If you're the one person who was waiting for this fantastic news before hitting that lovely "Wishlist" button, feel free to do it now, go on, it's free and it means we get to watch a little number go up on our side. It's very exciting for people like me! (Nerds)
Stay tuned to our Steam news pages and social media as our next Dev video about Yooka-Replaylee will dropping in August as part of a series of videos where we go over all the things you can expect from the game!
Now, to ensure Trowzer doesn't catch wind of us practically giving the game away, this message will self-destruct in 5...4...3...2...
