Hello,
I want to share with you the progress of the video game so far. I'm very excited about what we've achieved up to this point, so let's take a look!
First of all, I must mention that the game's name has been changed to "Legends of Duels" (acronym: LOD) because it's easier to remember.
Now, we will be handling "Champions" within LOD (Legends of Duels). This means that we will be creating a story behind each of them to give the video game a better identity. Gradually, we will reveal who these champions are and the stories behind them.
To summarize: The game's development progress is at 85%. Our plan is to make the game available as a public beta by December of this year.
Redesign and 3D Graphics

We have given the video game a complete redesign of the interface, providing it with a completely refreshed aesthetic that is more in line with current video games.
Now, characters and the in-game environment will be in 3D, allowing us to create better effects during matches. This means that you will see your character moving when casting spells. There will also be cards that affect the in-game environment. The visual effects of these cards will be limited to Epic rarity or higher to save resources, as there will be many cards.
Gameplay
Regarding gameplay, we have implemented many new features.
Dynamic Duels and Reaction Time
Duels will now be dynamic, as we have introduced what we call "Reaction Time." When your opponent casts a spell, the game will go into slow motion, giving you about 6 seconds to decide whether to use a card to counter the effect. This makes the game much more dynamic and enjoyable when it's not your turn to play.
Champion Abilities
With the introduction of champions in the game, we have decided to give them abilities that can be used during matches. These abilities can be used based on their mana cost. All champions will have at least three different abilities that you can choose to use. This adds an extra layer of strategy when combining your deck with your favorite champion.
Shop, Inventory, and Chests

The game will feature a shop where you can acquire champions, skins for champions, and chests containing cards. You can acquire them with real money or in-game currency.
When you acquire an item that can be opened, such as a chest, it will be added directly to your inventory, from where you can open it and collect the rewards. These rewards may include cards, champions, skins, icons, profile borders, and much more that we will be adding over time.
League System
The game will implement a league system that is quite well-known and used in other popular games. (Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Legend). Sound familiar?
Leagues from Iron to Diamond will have four divisions each, and you'll need to reach 100 points in each division to be promoted. For example, if you have 87 points in Platinum I, you could advance to Platinum II by winning a match that gives you the 13 points you need.
Players at the Master level or higher won't have divisions. We'll provide more details on how this system works in a separate article.
