We have been going pedal to the metal for the last month! In addition to some small bug fixing releases, we have put out 8 major updates since Beta. Each release has made the game more stable, more playable, and more awesome. We are now super close to leaving Early Access, and officially turning 1.0!
Instead of adding new features this next week, it's just going to be heavy bug testing and crash fixing. We want this to be an extremely stable build, so we can launch our release version on MONDAY 7/7!
So now the question on everyone's mind, what does 1.0 mean? The most important part about hitting our release version is that we will no longer be changing the size, shape, and behaviors of parts in the games. This means that no longer will your contraptions break and need rebuilt or adjusting when we put out a new version. We also feel that 1.0 is finally a complete game. There are 140 official puzzles to play, 100 parts to play with, online multiplayer, and so many community puzzles and contraptions to play. We feel that if someone buys this game at 1.0, they are getting a full, complete experience that we are proud of.
Does this mean we are done working on the game? Hell no! If anything, it means we are just getting started. We have a big backlog and idea board full of all sorts of sweet parts to add to the game. However, we don't want to hold people back from playing the game now just because it's "Early Access." Like I said, we feel that the game is a complete experience right now. We will continue to add new parts, puzzles, and features through regular updates like we have throughout the Early Access process.
