We've had a lot of new players recently, so I wanted to give a little update on what I've been working on and what to expect in future updates.
First of all, thank you for playing! Please feel free to send feedback and suggestions.
Your feedback helps guide the development!
Wound Man update 0.4.0 will be ready in a few weeks. This update will include a large content update. The content currently stands on it's own, but will eventually be blended into story elements, which are planned for the future.
This update will add "secrets". These secrets range from hidden objects to mini games and multi-step puzzles. This update will add the first 30 "secrets" to the game. It will also open the Secret Collection - a place to store all of the secret items you find. The long term plan is to add a total of 90 secrets - one for each level.
These updates will be completed in four main stages. The first stage is almost complete. I am putting the finishing touches on the secrets and doing the necessary testing and bug fixes.
In the first update, you can search for parts of Wound Man's body. Reassembling his body will restore his physical from, giving him the power essential to complete his quest.
The remaining three updates in this series will be:
Essence - Discover Wound Man's connection to his lost partner.
Artifacts - Try your hand at additional gruesome puzzles.
Manuscripts - Reveal information about the artwork found in the game.
Here are a few things that you might find in the next update:
A full list of features and fixes will be included in the ver. 0.4.0 release notes.
Please note, all features are subject to change.
