Hey Weyrdlings!
You know the new update is coming… and on Discord, some of you already anticipated a new NPC when we posted that mysterious “Who’s That NPC?” teaser.
Well, it’s time for some updates, both on the release date and the reveal of your newest Cozy Cove friend!
1. Who's That NPC? 🦒🐟🐉
Remember that silhouette we teased in Discord? A bunch of you guessed giraffe… and well…you're wrong! 😆
Our new NPC is friendly and fabulous! Andddd she’s got the most luscious seaweed lochs in all of Cozy Cove. Meet Nessie, the fabulous Loch Ness Monster!
✨Shoutout to everyone who guessed right ! ✨
She lives in the depths of Cozy Cove, and while she loves a bit of glam (and clams 😂), she also loves fish! Got a few extra? Trade with her and she might reward you with something special in return. 👀
"mrphh... scrrfff.. meowff?" (translation: Trade?)
2. Update Delay: A Little More Time! 🙏🏼
We know we said the update would drop this week, but… bugs happened and not the fun kind, either. Some game breaking ones popped out during testing and its been keeping our programmers up at night.
To make sure you have the best experience, we’re pushing the update to August 13th. We're really sorry if this bums anyone out and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding!
Let's just say.. boats are everywhere.. 🤦🏼
3. On a More Serious Note 🌊
We’ve seen the news about the earthquake in Russia and the resulting tsunami warnings in some regions. If you or your loved ones are in the affected areas, please stay safe and take care. Our thoughts are with you, and we’re sending all our love your way. 💛
