Current Game Status And What Will Be Included In The Future

Here are some of the main features that already exist in my game:

- Basic menu.
- Randomly generated world map.
- Nine monsters with different decks and natures.
- Effect system that can be used as card effect or on items (passives, curses, buffs, status and more).
- Battle encounter against monsters.
- Basic reward system.
- Lose and win mechanic.
- Advancing through the world interactions while developing the character and facing stronger monsters.

Obviously those are only the big titles and every one of them contains many things but it is still important to me to at least share the general idea.

Here you can pick on the game future, my progression is divided to five steps, currently I'm close to finish step two.

First step - programming the infrastructure of the project:

Includes many scripts, different managers, board controller, cards controllers, cards creation (art and functionalities), cards usage, character and monster with properties, movement, attacks, basic effects and animation, basic AI to enemies, lose/win and basic main menu.

Second step - game world progression:

Includes items and more cards functionalities, reward system, generated world map, moving through the map while facing enemies, more monsters and cards, ghost prediction on the player position and attacks while choosing moves, many more indication for the player and quality of life.

Left to finish step two - art and animation for the new cards and monsters, more items, better look for the world map, basic tutorial.

Third step - expended game world:

Includes deck editing, elites and boss, better AI, more cards, items, indications, visuals and basic sounds.

Forth step - finish a full world run:

Includes new encounters like shop, camp, blacksmith and more, option for more then one monster in a battle, character pick, difficulty levels.

Fifth step - first release:

Includes more characters types, monsterdex, more sounds, cards, items, visuals, balancing and a lot of fine tuning.
