Greetings, brave explorers of Nanraas! We must admit that our little Christmas holidays were surprisingly refreshing and enjoyable! Taking a short break in the game development process helped us to pull our plans and ideas together, as well as to think our development strategy through for this new year, since 2024th was a difficult but important experience for our team: we’ve successfully released our game in EA and we’ve been doing our best to fix all the known bugs, glitches and resolve all issues found by our players. Well, the time has come to work even harder on delivering even more top-notch content and new exciting features to our community! Thus, we still have an engaging breathtaking story to tell and dozens of new characters to reveal! Let’s keep exploring Nanraas together!
Our plans for the nearest future:
• We’re currently aiming to establish an efficient monthly update system to accelerate the delivery of new content to our players, as well as to simplify and clarify the testing procedures with clearly set tasks and objectives for our testers. This will allow us to roll out small, but bugs-free and polished updates on a monthly basis with a small portion of the main story introduced each time the update is released!
• As for the main story, we’re planning to achieve the following goals: our first milestone is to complete the Act II of the Sarantales’ campaign during the development cycle of 2025; once accomplished and if we have all the necessary resources, we will proceed to accomplishing the second milestone, namely: completing Act II portion of the main campaign of the other two classes. It includes a brand-new area of Nanraas, which includes a whole new city with its unique substories, side activities, secret quests, dozens of NPCs to interact with! Thus, we’d like to state it clearly: the first milestone will be achieved no matter what, and we will try to do our best to achieve the second one.
• We also might introduce some minor changes/fixes into the main campaign to adjust some game mechanics and/or correct some errors (the main story will remain intact and won’t be changed).
• There will be no separate tech updates. Each monthly update will include all the necessary fixes/tweaks/improvements (for example, UI tweaks, updated sprites and backgrounds, remastered sounds, etc.) unless game-breaking bugs/glitches/issues encountered, identified and reported.
We are being extremely careful with our roadmap and promises due to the instability and uncertainty caused by the military aggression against our country, which daily impacts our lives by missile strikes, blackouts, air raid alerts and much more. Thus, we’ve pointed out the minimum and maximum milestones we can achieve under such circumstances. We hope you’re enjoying our game, and we’ll do our best to deliver your new portions of content as intended!
Thank you so much! See you in Nanraas!
