Hello! There's a lot of reworks going on behind the scenes, so I wanted to share a bit of what's next in Kronian Titans!
First of all, I've finally been able to iterate on the rendering algorithm! There are still improvements to be made, but this is a lot closer to the final artstyle. Take a look!

I'm still working on models and effects, here's another example with pilot cut ins for supers and the like:

Gameplay Changes
I've also iterated on the boost mechanic, which now feels like it finally works the way I wanted it to. To give a quick overview:
- Tapping the D button will make you do an Impulse, which is a small quick movement you can then cancel into one of your attacks. Very good for repositioning and maneuvering, but you can't block.
- Holding the D button will instead give you a Boost, which is more committal but goes faster. This gives you more distance but also locks you in a state where your attacks are replaced by unique, committal options.
The direction you hold will change which movement you get. For the Amblitz, there's a total of 18 different impulses/boosts, but it still feels natural in play!

Another thing that has seen some work are the combo mechanics! I've introduced the recapture property onto some moves, which allows you to transition from air combo to ground combo. More to come in a later update!

What's next?
No update on the horizon unfortunately, as a lot of the changes need time to be propagated to all mechs, and I wouldn't want to lock out most features of the current version, but it's on my mind.
I am currently focused on one main thing: finishing the Amblitz Mk. II Assault Type at a near-final level of quality. This means both its attacks and its graphics. The model is getting improved to its actual on-paper design, and I'm adding more moves to it. This is probably the point at which I'll actually release an update!
I've got other stuff to share, but all will come in time! Please stay tuned!
