Update 0.6.10

What's New

1)Since some players who didn't want to lose their defence rating switched to twinks when they were absent, we have added a 48-hour cooldown between base changes. After moving to a different base, players will only be able to move again after two days.

2)To encourage better use of MLRS, we have added charges limiting their use per session. There are now only 5 salvos for both attack and defence, which should be enough to receive the necessary fire support without using scorched earth tactics.

3)The starting time has been increased to 70-75% of the total time pool. Also, you will now get +10%, +15%, or +25% for a captured control point (depending on how many points there are on the map).

4)Aircraft have been rebalanced once again. Their support point cost has been reduced. Damage dealt to vehicles by assault infantry has been increased.

5)Many types of support are now more effective:

  • Smoke Screen's duration has been increased by 50%
  • Number of shells have been increased for Howitzer Salvo and Howitzer Fire
  • Howitzer support cooldown has been increased to 1 second
  • The cost to Capture Fortification has been reduced to 3 (2 if the Fortification is a Commander's)
  • The cost of engineer support has been reduced to 1 (but range has been increased by 30%, if the support belongs to a Commander)

6)The cost of howitzers (fortifications) in support points has been increased from 62 to 69.

7)The number of available obstructions has been reduced by a third.

8)Combat controls have been updated:

  • Right-clicking a unit's icon in the central panel centres the camera on the unit, instead of highlighting all identical units as before. You can still highlight all identical units by right-clicking one of them on the map or by holding Ctrl and left-clicking the unit.
  • Pressing Shift + a number adds highlighted units to the group assigned to that number. If there is no group assigned to this number, the shortcut works the same as Ctrl+Number.

9)All Generals have been renamed Commanders, which is a more accurate word for the tasks they perform. This does not include texts where "general" is used to describe the Commander's rank.
