“Heretic!” Fanatic cried and threw a bottle of mead at the man he was talking to. “You nutty fanatic!” hissed Heretic, dodging the bottle, and flung his already empty tankard in response.
A poor tavern-keeper was watching in horror how vessels and other things were flying around his tavern. Meanwhile, the visitors didn’t even think about calming down — each of them was ardently defending his own beliefs. They were so engrossed in this argument that failed to notice the point — basically, they were talking about the same thing but in different words.
By the end of the night and some empty bottles of mead Heretic and Fanatic realized that humbleness and acceptance of another opinion grant true power. Use it while they still agree on that!
