No P2W, no real money

Hello all,

Looks like there is missinformation about Unepic and spending extra real money. Let's clarify it:
First of all, unepic is NOT and has never been a P2W (Pay to Win) game. This is totally false.

In the Steam version it is not possible to spend real money. The only that costs real money is the game itself.

All these hearsays about real money came because there is an option in the official web of unepic to purchase credits using real money. As usual, talking is easier than investigating or asking.

In non-steam versions, when someone completes a challenge in the game (there are 15 hidden challenges), you earn "unepic credits" that can be exchanged by special items. These special items are just to have fun and have special stats, but never needed to finish the game, like the "Austin Power's English suit", a "Stormtrooper plastic armor", the Enterprise pet, a ring that tells you when the game has been saved, and a lot more.

Like other extra contents like the multiplayer mode, HD support, dubbings, steamKeys and much others, this feature was done as a gift to people, asking no extra charge.

After this feature was released, a few people asked if they could obtain those credits using real money instead of completing the challenges within the game, so I included this option in the web.

In the future I will implement these "Unepic credits" earned by doing challenges that are already available, and a vendor to get extra items.

Concerning using real money in Steam in the future, if I do it, it will be always to obtain funny things and never needed to play the game normally.
