Hey everyone!
The v124 update has arrived along with a big new 35% off sale. Been working mostly on co-op features and testing, but here are updates that I've been working on alongside that!
Patch notes:
- The default game mode now has a simpler automation challenge with a quicker early game. A new setting provides the option for simpler production recipes to make iron and copper progression easier.
- There is now a mandatory game mode selection screen with descriptions when creating a new world. There are now 5 separate modes: Creative, Relaxed, Moderate, Hardcore, and Custom.
- Add a new type of sloped floor piece for basebuilding.
- FPS limit setting in graphics settings.
- Some improvements to the feel of the game (e.g. camera height adjustments, physics adjustments).
- Emotes and player animations (part of the co-op development - much more to come that's being tested)
- Fix bug with effect visuals when deconstructing certain base pieces.
Open co-op testing will be starting very soon on a beta branch, join the Discord to be notified of updates and help provide feedback for improvements!
Some upcoming features to look forward to with co-op:
Jet pack + Jump upgrades (e.g. double jump)
Scrap processor, robo tokens, cosmetics
Send items you don't need to the scrap processor in exchange for Robo Tokens, which you can use to purchase various things!
Thanks again for following the development. I appreciate everyone's feedback and comments!
