Khaire, gladiators!
A few days ago we alerted you to the planned nerf of the Attack Power stat. After engaging in discussions with players (thank you for your feedback) in the Discord and Facebook community, we have decided to cancel the proposed change and retain the indicator's impact on damage without reducing it. As an accompanying measure, we will decrease the potential values on items, but this change will solely affect newly crafted items.
Furthermore, there is something we've been eager to modify for some time - the evolution of food efficiency over time. Therefore, we will be implementing a few alterations to cooking in an upcoming update:
Cooked food, starting with Mushroom Soup, will now not only restore stamina but also increase the maximum stamina value for a few hours.
The bonus to maximum stamina from food will be stackable (e.g., Soup + Porridge). However, food of the same type will replace the existing buff, renewing its duration. The exception will be food from events (like Caramelized Apple), which will provide a universal bonus of +10.
Preparing food will be slightly more straightforward, requiring only 1 culture and an additional ingredient. The recipe will include the Burned Clay Bowl, again. We understand that the bowl is not the easiest item to obtain, but we are considering potential improvements to balance this aspect.
We will enable the consumption of Raw Meat. This solution has both advantages and disadvantages. The positive aspect is that it will be possible to restore stamina right in the fields. The downside is apparent - if meat is transformed into food, it cannot be stored in the resource warehouse; it will move to the food warehouse. Please note that we do not intend to move it automatically, but if you withdraw it from storage, you will not be able to return it.
Lastly, but certainly not least, all food items, starting with porridge, will receive a slight bonus to stamina restoration value.
Please share your thoughts in the comments.
P.S. Some details (such as food restoration values) may be subject to change during development.
