Since our move to our new Steamworks servers we have been hard at work to restore Company of Heroes to its former glory. Along with the team at Smoking Gun Interactive we've reached a point where we feel that our original game is back to where it was before we were forced to change servers.
Before we call the job done we want to let the community test it, to help us find bugs, crashes and other problems with the game before it's unleashed on the public. Thus we're holding a beta test.
The beta is open to anyone who has Company of Heroes (New Steam Version) in their Steam library. If you own the previous version of Company of Heroes you can move to the newer version by following these instructions.
How to get into the Beta?
- Open Steam
- Go to your Steam Library
- Right click on Company of Heroes (New Steam Version) and select "Properties"
- Click the "BETAS" tab in the Properties menu
- Use the drop down to select "Beta - "
- Steam will now download the beta
- Launch the game
- Feedback is best given in this forum.
While all feedback is appreciated we're mostly focused on bugs, errors and technical problems. Balance and design feedback is welcome, but these are not areas we are focusing on at this point.
