The Hungry Lamb: Travelling in the Late Ming Dynasty is a visual novel depicting the famous Ming Dynasty famine in history. In the game, you will experience a story about revenge, assassination, abduction, cannibalism and so on, searching for the shimmering light of humanity in the darkness of the most.
We know it looks a bit strange to have a bundle with such a visual novel. But just as what we mentioned in our 2025 plan post, 2024 has been an ups and downs for us and the studio behind this game shares the same experience. As indie games, we went through various difficulties during the development stage, but we survived because of players' support.
So, at the end of this year, we hope that our story can bring some positive energy to you.
We understand that such a Chinese story might not be your cup of tea due to the cultural difference and aesthetics preference, but hopefully you would like to give it a try when you have some free time during your year-end holiday. This cruel but heart-warming story might surpass your expectation.
OK, it’s probably our last post before Christmas, enjoy!
See you soon,
